As an Originator, you will have explicit P&L responsibility to sell projects and power generated to C&I clients and report to Chief Operating Officer. You will be responsible to generate leads and conclude deals with approved counterparties on service offerings. You will also be responsible to innovate and customise products and services that can be successfully delivered to target clients. Your role includes developing strong stakeholder network and relationships across solar and power market in India.

Key accountabilities and expectations of your role also include:

• Actively engage and contribute to the team of Originators and business developers
• Actively contribute to coordinate with other teams like Engineering, Project Management and Asset Management
• Manage workflow including appropriate planning and prioritisation
• To be accountable for the quality of delivery and results achieved by the Business Origination team
• In the origination of deals, identifying opportunities, assessing and developing new products the client can offer to its clients; risk mitigation and or competitiveness of the deals.
• Ensure Code of Conduct and Business Policies are followed closely and strictly
• Adhering to the needs of proper documentation and reporting as per Company processes

• University degree
• Prior experience of Indian power market and solar rooftop market is mandatory
• Ability to quickly grasp the commercial aspects of the transaction, and identify workable solutions for risk mitigation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to gain understanding through listening, and to communicate technical concepts clearly
• Extensive experience in developing network and conclude value creating business
