Job Description: Linux Administrator, Appliance- APAC & Americas

Requirement

• Experience in SIEM (Security information and event management) industry is preferred.
• Expertise in VMWare ESXi.
• Expertise in Linux operating system (Red Hat / Ubuntu preferred).
• Experience working with AIX systems.
• Must have a solid knowledge of networking technology/tools, firewalls, proxies, and the OSI Model, including TCP/IP protocols and standards.
• Experience working with IDS – Intrusion Detection Systems.
• Experience in setting up Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud environment.
• Effective communication skills to interact with global customers on conference calls.

Responsibility

• Able to multi-task and deliver consistently on deadlines.
• To optimize System performance of SIEM, will be able to provide analysis report to team.
• Should be able to act as a Single point of contact for the technical tower in front of the customer management.
• Ensure proper communication and quick resolution as a crisis manager.
• Drives day to day operations and work plan allocation/management as per assigned tickets.
• Take corrective actions & meetings to resolve issues based on the customer queries.
• Flexibility to operate in 24*7 monitoring environment with rotational shifts.
